White Peony Organic contains both young buds (similar to the silver needle) and mature leaves that were harvested during the spring harvest. This makes the brew slightly less sweet and gives it a savoury taste. This full bodied tea has floral and fruity notes and a sweetness that are rare in white teas. With only buds with two leafs, this makes it a top grade organic tea. White teas go through very minimal processing. The buds and leaves are plucked very early in the harvesting season and then withered or air dried to remove all the moisture.
